How do I brew loose-leaf teas?
Brewing tea shouldn’t be intimidating. Once you’ve tasted your first cup, you’ll be coming back for more and will be a pro before you know it.
To get the best flavor, the tea must have room to move in the water. By using a stainless steel steeper or a teapot, you are able to get a perfect cup of tea from loose leaves.
To brew a good cup, bring the water to a boil, add 1-2 tsp of tea per cup, and let the teapot or infuser sit for 3-4 minutes. Also, the hotter you keep the water, the better the tea!
Remove your infuser from your cup and enjoy straight away or, if using a teapot, pour the brewed tea into individual cups through a strainer and serve either hot or iced! Add milk or honey as desired.
